The Clergy of St. Stephen’s are available for all types of pastoral care. In the event of a pastoral emergency please call the parish office at (305) 448 2601 and you will be directed to the “on call” priest.

The Rev. Wilifred Allen-Faiella - Rector

The Rev’d Wilifred (Willie) Allen-Faiella has been our rector since August, 2001.  Previously she served as rector of Trinity Church, Gulph Mills in the Diocese of Pennsylvania for ten years and assistant rector of Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill in Alexandria, VA for four years.  A 1987 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, she holds a B.A. in history from Bryn Mawr College and an M.A. in theatre arts from the West Berlin campus of Schiller College.  Willie’s “past life” was as the performing arts director of a U.S. army base near Pisa, Italy for six years.  She is married to Chris Faiella and they are the proud parents of Christopher (Kit) and Sophia.

Mrs. Silvia Larrauri - Head of School

The Rev. Jo-Ann Murphy, Assistant Rector

Rev'd Jo-Ann has been a priest for 21 years.  She has served parishes in the dioceses of Newark and Virginia before joining the staff at St. Stephen's.  She is a certified Spiritual Director and holds a doctorate in Christian Formation from Drew Theological Seminary in Madison, NJ.

The Rev. Howard Stowe, Assisting Clergy

Father Stowe has been a priest for 38 years.  He was assistant to the Bishop of New York at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine before becoming Rector of St. Ignatius of Antioch in Manhattan where he served for 23 years.  At St. Stephen's since 1995, he is now "retired."  He teaches liturgics at the Diocesan School of Southeast Florida and is active in the parish and other community groups.


Dan Hardin

 

 

 

 

Dr.Dan Hardin - Choir Director and Organist

W. Dan Hardin is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and Northwestern University. In addition to serving as Choir Director and Organist, he is Music Librarian and a member of the music faculty at Florida International University. He presently serves as Dean of the Ft. Lauderdale chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

 

Veronica Solorzano - Parish Administrator

Veronica comes to St. Stephen's from a Coral Gables accounting firm where she was the Office Manager for six years.  She has also managed a retail store for six years.  She has both accounting and management experience and brings her skills to St. Stephen's, where she is responsible for the updating of church records, keeping the church's books, handling incoming calls and visitors, and managing the office calendar.

 

Daisy Lewis - Art Show Director

Daisy is a marketing and fundraising consultant for nonprofit and community-based organizations and president of Daisy Industries, Inc.  She specializes in youth programs, disability programs, and producing special events.

 

Robin Lawrie - Communications Director

Robin has been vice president of marketing services for a national manufacturing company, an artist, an art teacher, and an art therapist.  She is responsible for St. Stephen's external and internal communications, including this web site.  She gladly accepts comments or suggestions at the above email link.

 

Francois Murat - Sexton

Francois has been with St. Stephen's for 18 years.  Loved and cherished by everyone at St. Stephen's, he is the only truly indispensible staff person.
